Our Story

Air Capital Drift was founded in 2025 by a group of passionate drift enthusiasts who saw the need for an organized, inclusive drift community in Wichita and central Kansas. What started as informal meetups at local parking lots has grown into a thriving grassroots organization dedicated to advancing the sport of drifting in the region.

Named after Wichita's legacy as the "Air Capital of the World," our community brings together drivers of all skill levels—from beginners just learning the fundamentals to experienced competitors pushing the limits of their machines and abilities.

Today, we host regular events throughout the year, providing a safe, structured environment for drivers to practice and improve their skills while building lasting connections with fellow enthusiasts.
